This site reflects little bursts of inspiration and thought - through writing and photography. I like to credit anything that blesses you as simply God flowing through me...and anything that doesn't...well, that would just be my mere thinking out loud! :)
May there be more of God's inspiration than Kim's thoughts...and may you be greatly encouraged and blessed as you browse through this collection of offerings!
Feel free to scroll through the above mini-gallery by placing mouse on the arrows. (Note: Some devices do not show or allow this option. Also, some devices such as I-Phones show blog pics separated differently than you will view them on a PC. I have yet to figure out why, but then my humble technology accomplishments are doing well to even have a blog!) Check out the gallery of photos if you like color and photography. At the bottom/left of each page is a small arrow to view previous posts. There are many.

Song by Eva Cassidy
Photos, well, by me!
Tis the season and I stare
At the twinkling lights up there
On the tinsel in the mall
Where few notice them at all
Bustling shoppers carting style
Yet there seems to be few smiles
If I could, I'd rather be
A thousand places far from these
Staring at a velvet sky
With its decorations bright
Through the pines that whisper sweet
Age-old stories they repeat
I would trade this garland gold
For a walk in fresh, new snow
Silver bells are pretty here
But to a fire I'd draw near
Oh the crackle as it warms
All of me, but first my heart
I enjoyed the bright display
In the stores and halls today
But I long for Christmas cheer
Where sweet memories linger dear
A Cedar tree is awing me on this crispy day
Plump, blue berries dazzling, near the gold display
What a colorful surprise, rich and bold delight
How I love this time of year, brilliant, bursting bright
Fall is fleeting by the hour, taunting winter's stare
I stand gazing at the scene, making it my care
As the world just passes by, I can only pause
And look at such magnificence; thank You, thank You, God
For making moments such as this, full of splendor free
As the yellow, orange and green, frame this cedar tree
